Soul, body, and heart at Destilería Tierra de Jaguar are what have forged the mezcal tradition that has endured over the years, passed down from generation to generation since 1897 in the municipality of Tlacolula de Matamoros, Oaxaca.
Careful attention to every detail of mezcal production, combined with a strong connection to the environment and sustainability, defines us as an industry whose byproducts (vinazas) can affect groundwater and agricultural fields. As a socially responsible company, Destilería Tierra de Jaguar has installed state-of-the-art biodigesters, helping to treat waste and reduce the ecological impact on our community.
