Master Mezcalero

LUIS ROBERTO GARCÍA CHAGOYA

With a strong lineage and mezcal tradition in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca, Agronomist Engineer Luis Roberto García Chagoya, founder of Destilería Tierra de Jaguar, serves as Master Mezcalero. Alongside his family, he is responsible for the production and supervision of every distilled product, as well as the selection of agaves, bottling, and labeling of the mezcal.

The passion for mezcal production has led the family to work together and be involved in every stage of the process, continuing the mezcalero legacy.
